It was fantastic to come home after the first day of working after a long vacation. I was greeted by a barking Eddie, a whining Embla and an Elsa who tried to do both at the same time. She’s usually very quiet, never “says a word”, that it was so cute to see how she reacted when I came home early in the evening. I also went home at lunch to see how she was doing even if my husband was home.

Look at Elsa now! Can you tell the difference? Due to her laser treatment her coat has got the latest hairstyle – 3 different lengths.

Today we had an appointment at the rehab center for animal.

Today was a really happy day. Elsa tried to join when Embla and Eddie were playing and chasing each other in the garden. She was running and jumping…Unfortunately my cellphone was not there so I have no video from this moment.

The kids you see in this video are my neighbour’s/friend’s granddaughters.

Our little streetdog from Turkey has turned into a flycatcher. A pretty good one it seems like.

How is it possible not to love this little sweety?❤️❤️ It’s hard to think that someone on purpose tried to kill my baby.

Today we took a nice walk around Kypesjön (sjö=lake). Elsa is walking better and better and you can see now that her hind muscles are growing in size. No signs of the diarrhea she had yesterday.

Since Saturday Elsa has been on painkillers and last night her stomach couldn’t cope with the medicine no longer. She woke me up this morning with the worst diarrhea poor thing. I contacted the vet just to make sure that I shouldn’t give her the painkillers. That was correct and the vet also said she should not eat today for at least 12 hours, just have fresh water to drink. She’s been ok, but I just let her be in the garden today since I figured she must feel quite weak after not being allowed to eat.

Finally, at around 9:30 pm I gave her some boiled fish and rice. She devoured it! Then she started to play with Embla. It’s so fantastic to see her play and look happy.
